The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's English Department offers a creative writing PhD; many of our students are involved with the Prairie Schooner literary journal and the Prairie Schooner Book Prize series. The McNeese Review
The McNeese Review has been around as a scholarly publication since 1948 and now publishes the best poetry, short fiction, literary nonfiction and interviews available. The journal is edited by faculty and students of the MFA in Creative Writing program at McNeese State University, proudly nestled in Cajun country in Southwest Louisiana.
