Author's Bio

Romana Iorga was born in Chisinau, Moldova, earned a BA in Romanian and English Literature from the University of Bucharest and an MFA in creative writing from the University of Minnesota. She published two poetry collections in her native Romanian. Her work in English has appeared or is forthcoming in the New England Review, Salamander, Gulf Coast, Redivider, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, EcoTheo Review, PANK, and elsewhere. In the fall of 2018, she was part of AWP’s Writer to Writer mentorship program, working with mentor Erin Hoover. She’s a Best of the Net and Pushcart nominee and continues to scavenge for poems in the multilingual forests above Lausanne, Switzerland.
