A Rally of Writers

The 37th annual A Rally of Writers conference will be held on April 13 at the West Campus of Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan. The conference features workshops, panel discussions, and readings in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. Participating writers include poets Laura Apol and Masaki Takahashi; fiction writers Erin Bartels, Steven Harper Piziks, Lev Raphael, Jay Whistler, and Claudia Whitsitt; and nonfiction writer Andrea King Collier. Poet Nandi Comer will give the keynote address.

Southampton Writers Conference

The 49th annual Southampton Writers Conference will be held from July 10 to July 14 at the Stony Brook Southampton campus in Southampton, New York, located on the Atlantic coast 90 miles east of New York City. The conference features workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as readings and an agent panel. Sonoma County Writers Camp

The Spring 2023 Sonoma County Writers Camp was held from April 17 to April 21 at Bishops Ranch Retreat Center in Healdsburg, California. The retreat featured generative workshops in fiction and memoir, panels by authors and agents, master classes, meditative dream writing, and student readings. The faculty included fiction writer Ellen Sussman and fiction and nonfiction writer Elizabeth Stark. The cost of the retreat, which included all meals, lodging, and activities, was $2,195 for a double room and $2,495 for a single room. Registration was first come, first served.
