The 2021 Kachemak Bay Writers’ Conference will be held online from May 15 to May 18. The conference features craft classes in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as craft conversations, panels, manuscript reviews, readings, networking events, and an open mic. The faculty includes poets Victoria Chang and Anis Mojgani, fiction writers Brandon Hobson and Vera Starbard, and nonfiction writers Francisco Cantú and Marie Mutsuki Mockett. Nonfiction writer Ernestine Saankaláxt Hayes will give the closing address. Scholarships are available; complete a scholarship application by February 28. The cost of tuition is $80 through February 28, $100 through May 6, and $150 through May 14. Space is limited; registration is first come, first served. Visit the website for more information.
