Funding/Employment Opportunities: 

The program offers partial funding to most students. The program offers merit- and need-based scholarships, as well as several paid fellowships including the Hunger Mountain Fellowship, the Vermont Book Award Fellowship, and various teaching, editorial, library, and literary fellowships.

The priority scholarship deadline is February 28.

The MFA in Writing & Publishing (Residential) at the Vermont College of Fine Arts is a two-year program in Vermont. It offers a cross-genre focus and cross-disciplinary opportunities with the college’s six low-residency arts programs. Other features include opportunities to meet with visiting artists, writers, editors, and publishers; and take courses in print and digital publishing.
