Anderson Center Artist Residency Program

The 2026 Anderson Center Artist Residency Program offers residencies of two weeks or one month from June through October to poets, fiction writers, creative nonfiction writers, and translators at Tower View, a 350-acre historic estate in Red Wing, Minnesota. Residents are provided with a private room, studio space, and meals. To apply, submit a writing sample of up to 10 pages, an artist statement, and a work plan with a $30 application fee by January 13, 2026.

Good Hart Artist Residency

The Good Hart Artist Residency offers 10- to 21-day residencies year-round to artists and writers, including poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers, in the woods bordering the “Tunnel of Trees” Scenic Heritage Route in Good Hart, Michigan, a village located on Lake Michigan. One artist or writer attends the residency at a time. The resident is provided with a private bedroom, a living room, an open loft with a reading area, a patio, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Residents also receive a $500 stipend.

Todos Santos Writers Workshop Winter Session

The 2026 Todos Santos Writers Workshop Winter Session will be held from January 31, 2026, to February 7, 2026, at La Posada del Molino in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The workshop offers daily classes and craft seminars in poetry, fiction, memoir, and storytelling strategies; one-on-one consultations with faculty; an open mic; and a fiesta night featuring regional food and cocktails. The faculty includes poet Christopher Merrill, fiction writers Ann Hood and Karen Karbo, and nonfiction writers Jeanne McCulloch and Rex Weiner.

Event Horizon

Event Horizon offers residencies of two weeks to three months year-round to poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers in modern studios built from converted shipping containers on eight acres of olive groves in Crete, Greece. Residents are provided with lodging on the property’s campsite or in nearby affiliate housing, which includes a traditional Cretan house, a converted stone windmill, and a caravan. Residents have access to nearby beaches and towns, including Fourni Village, Mirabello Bay, and Neapolis.

Front Range Book Prize

A prize of $1,000, publication by Alternating Current Press, and 25 author copies will be given annually for a poetry collection, story collection, essay collection, novel, memoir, or book-length hybrid work on the theme of Colorado or by a writer born, raised, or residing in Colorado (or who has resided in Colorado for at least three years). The winner will also be given the opportunity to participate in a book tour in Colorado. All entries are considered for publication. A prize of $1,000 and publication by Autumn House Press is given in alternating years for a debut work of poetry or fiction. The 2025 prize will be given for fiction. The winner will also receive a $1,000 stipend for travel and book promotion. K-Ming Chang will judge. Submit a novel, novella, or story collection of 100 to 200 pages with a $30 entry fee by November 15. The submission fee may be waived in cases of financial need.
