Author's Bio

Leah Umansky is the author of four books of poetry, most recently, The Barbarous Century (Eyewear Publishing, 2018). She is also the author of two chapbooks, the dystopian-themed, Straight Away the Emptied World (Kattywompus Press 2016), the Mad-Men inspired chapbook, Don Dreams and I Dream (Kattywompus Press, 2014), and Domestic Uncertainties (BlazeVOX 2012). Some of her Game of Thrones related poetry has been translated into both Norwegian and Bengali. She is also the curator of the COUPLET Reading Series in NYC. Her poems can be seen in such places as Poetry Magazine, The New York Times, Guernica, The White Review, Salamander, and Pleiades, among others. Flavorwire named her #7 of 23 People Who Will Make You Care About Poetry in 2013.
