Author's Bio

Leah Umansky is the author of The Barbarous Century, forthcoming from Eyewear Publishers in 2018. She is also the author of two chapbooks, the dystopian-themed, Straight Away the Emptied World (Kattywompus Press 2016), the Mad-Men inspired chapbook, Don Dreams and I Dream (Kattywompus Press, 2014), and Domestic Uncertainties (BlazeVOX 2012). She is also the curator of the COUPLET Reading Series in NYC. Her poems can be seen in such places as Poetry, Barrow Street, and The Brooklyn Rail, among others. Flavorwire named her #7 of 23 People Who Will Make You Care About Poetry in 2013. She is a Mad Men & Game of Thrones superfan, and three of her #GoT poems have recently been translated into Norwegian by Beijing Trondheim.
