Author's Bio

Amanda Auchter is the founding editor of Pebble Lake Review and the author of The Glass Crib, winner of the Zone 3 Press First Book Award for Poetry, and the chapbook Light Under Skin. Her second collection, The Wishing Tomb, was awarded the 2012 Perugia Press Prize and will be published in September 2012. She has received awards and honors from Bellevue Literary Review, BOMB Magazine, Bread Loaf Writers Conference, Crab Orchard Review, Southern Indiana Review, Mid-American Review, and was a 2007 finalist for the Ruth Lilly Poetry Fellowship from The Poetry Foundation. She holds an MFA from Bennington College and teaches creative writing and literature at Lone Star College.
