Lauren Camp

Author's Bio

Lauren Camp is the author of three collections of poetry, most recently One Hundred Hungers (Tupelo Press, 2016), which won the Dorset Prize. Her poems appear in New England Review, Poetry International, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, Radar Poetry, Memorious, Linebreak, Slice, The Seattle Review, Beloit Poetry Journal and elsewhere. She has twice guest edited special sections in World Literature Today —international jazz poetry (2011) and poetry about contemporary visual art (2015). She also guest-edited a mini-anthology for Malpaís Review on the poetry of Iraq. Other literary honors include a fellowship with the Black Earth Institute, the Margaret Randall Poetry Prize from The Más Tequila Review, an Anna Davidson Rosenberg Poetry Award, and residencies with the Gaea Foundation, The Mabel Dodge Luhan House and Truchas Peaks Place. She teaches creative writing in northern New Mexico, and produces and hosts “Audio Saucepan”—a global music program interwoven with contemporary poetry—on Santa Fe Public Radio. www.laurencamp.com.
