Jason Gordy Walker

Jason Gordy Walker is a poet, writer, translator, and critic who has taught at the University of Alabama-Birmingham and the University of Florida, worked with literary journals such as Birmingham Poetry Review, poemmemoirstory (now Nelle), and Subtropics, and placed writing with a variety of venues both online and in print. His translations of poems from the Norwegian of Rune Christiansen are published in B O D Y, BPR, Cordite Poetry Review, Denver Quarterly, and Subtropics. He reviews books for Asymptote's What's New in Translation, BPR, and Alabama Writers' Forum. Other reviews and interviews appear or are forthcoming in AWF's First Draft, Blackbird, Poetry Northwest, Rain Taxi Review of Books, and elsewhere. New suites of his poems are forthcoming in Cutleaf and table//FEAST.
