Author's Bio

Tara Ballard holds an MFA from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. For eight years now, she and her husband have been living in the Middle East and West Africa, teaching English in schools and universities and traveling often throughout various countries. Her essay on poetic craft is included in Urban Farmhouse Press' Ford City Anthology. Her poems have been anthologized in the recently published anthology, Truth to Power.
