Editorial Focus

New Rivers Press is interested in literary work of every character, but especially in diverse work that's aesthetically challenging and has a social conscience. Their Many Voices Project competition (Sept. 15 to Nov. 1) seeks the best new literary prose and poetry from new and emerging writers. Their Electronic Book Series (July 1 to Sept. 1) seeks manuscripts in popular fiction genres. During open submissions (May), they are interested in reading the best work from writers in all stages of their careers.

Tips From the Editor

Make sure to send manuscripts to the appropriate competition (MVP, Electronic Book Series, American Fiction) and to check deadlines and guidelines. We read general submissions in May and June.
