Author's Bio

Michael Lyle is the author of the poetry chapbook, The Everywhere of Light (Plan B Press, 2018) and his poems have appeared widely, including Atlanta Review, Canary, The Carolina Quarterly, Common Ground Review, Crannóg, Dappled Things, The Hollins Critic, Hummingbird, IthacaLit, The Madrigal, The Main Street Rag, MockingHeart Review, Mudfish, Pensive, Plainsongs, Poetry East, The Windhover and other magazines and journals. Three of his essays were winners of the Buechner Narrative Writing Project and published in The Christian Century.  Michael's creative nonfiction has appeared in Guideposts Books, The Roanoke Rambler, Rock & Sling, Tiferet and his book "Gathered Stones."  His poems made the long list for the Fish Publishing 2020 and 2021Poetry Prizes.  Michael lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. http://www.michaellylewriter.com.
