Editorial Focus
Pinyon is a national journal of poetry and fiction housed at Colorado Mesa University. We invite submissions from both established and emerging writers. In addition to the submissions we accept, we also publish solicited book reviews and folios of visual art.
Tips From the Editor
We are excited by work that is driven by unique relationships to language. We want to be surprised by what you did with words. A conventional formal poem could catch our eyes if it's particularly masterful, but we are more likely to be drawn to work that complicates and adds to a tradition than work that simply participates in a tradition.
