Author's Bio

Jennifer K. Sweeney is the author of two previous books of poetry, How to Live on Bread and Music, winner of the 2009 James Laughlin Award, the Perugia Press Prize, and also nominated for The Poet’s Prize, and Salt Memory, (Main Street Rag Poetry Award). Her poems have been translated into Turkish, included in Oxford and Benchmark textbooks, and published widely in literary journals including American Poetry Review, Poetry Daily, and the 2009 Pushcart Prize anthology.
