Our goal is to promote creative artists and give them the recognition they deserve. We also seek to provide opportunities for growth and learning for artists. We host events throughout the school year, feature artists’ work online, and release a literary magazine each fall and spring semester.

We accept entries of the following types: art, essay, music lyrics, photography, plays, poetry, and short story (fiction and non-fiction).

Now that you know about us, #ShareYourAura.

With Aura the potential is limitless. This literary arts magazine is about celebrating human experiences and cultivating passionate artists from across the world. We connect poets and artists, writers and digital illustrators, to create a cohesive narrative. The power of art is something that inspires all of us, when we share our aura through writing we are are affecting others without even realizing it. Whiskey Tit attempts to restore degradation and degeneracy to the literary arts. We’re pretty sure we are succeeding here. This is usually because the works don’t fit neatly into genre/length/media packages. We proudly publish books that are too long or too short, books in which the authors insist upon no back cover blurbs, books whose best genre descriptions might be “comedy of terror,” “memnoir,” “randy seafaring misadventure,” or “low-tech noir.”

Please be uncompromising in your vision, unwavering in your standards, and exacting in your vision.

S & H Publishing has one goal in mind - providing quality books for our readers. We constantly search for talented writers. Our aim is to provide our authors with many of the advantages of having a publisher, while letting them retain much of the freedom of a self-published author. Just as the contemporary woman is not restricted by genre or age, talent is not restricted by distance or national borders. We pride ourselves on our international community of talented writers.

Please read our submission guidelines. We tailor our style sheet to the country of the author.

Each issue of COG is a curiously constructed curation offered up by the students of Cogswell College. COG's writers thrill with skillfully wrought and cohesive narratives; insight and intensity; imagery and attitude - alternating nimbly between closely examined moments, characters or nuances and larger human themes. COG is not a venue for student work; rather, as of March 2018, COG had received submissions from writers working in 24 countries beyond the U.S.

In addition to publishing traditional text-based work, check out Cogitate - our audio broadcast - and the video series. We consider submissions in both categories, as well as cover art submissions.

Alternative Book Press is a new publishing company established in October 2012 by Columbia University and Cornell University graduates with the following aim in view: To identify and publish genuine, pathbreaking works reflecting alternative viewpoints far away from the huge volumes of matter in publishing today. Works that stand out. Works that are not written primarily from the point of view of sales, but rather works that will be seen 50 or 100 years from now as of lasting import.
