In this virtual Harvard Radcliffe Institute event, Christian Wiman reads a selection of poems from his collections Every Riven Thing (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2011) and Survival Is a Style (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2020), as well as Osip Mandelstam’s poem “And I Was Alive,” which he translated from the Russian with Ilya Kaminsky. Major Jackson then joins Wiman in a conversation about his latest collection, The Dance (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2026).

In this 2023 Harvard Radcliffe Institute event, Gabrielle Calvocoressi reads from their collection The New Economy (Copper Canyon Press, 2025) and discusses the relationship between the vessel of the body and the vessel of the poem in a conversation with Claudia Rizzini.
