Author's Bio

Alex de Voogt graduated from Drew University's Poetry-in-Translation MFA program in 2020. His translations focus on Constantine Cavafy and Muyaka bin Haji. He has also translated an occasional poem from old Chinese, ancient Greek, French, and Japanese. Although mainly an exophone translator, he has published a few translations into Dutch from Swahili and English.
