
The Jentel Artist Residency Program offers four-week residencies from mid-January to mid-May to poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers on a cattle ranch in the Lower Piney Creek Valley, 20 miles east of Sheridan, Wyoming. Each residency includes a private room, separate work space, access to a common living area, and a $400 stipend. Residents are responsible for their own food and travel. U.S. citizens or international writers currently residing in the United States who are over 25 years old and not currently enrolled as students are eligible. For residencies from January 15, 2021, to May 13, 2021, using only the online application system submit up to 10 pages of poetry or up to 20 pages of prose and contact information for three references with a $30 application fee by September 15.
