Editorial Focus

We are the Metaworker, a literary blog (or lit magazine on the internet) created by millenials, for millenials.

We started out as a group of recent graduates from Chapman University, where we were editors of the on-campus literary magazine, The Calliope. It's been two years since then, and we've been publishing poetry, fiction, and non-fiction from a variety of submitters every Monday. Our goal is simply to publish things that we, and our target audience, find interesting. So far, we feel we've done a pretty good job.

Tips From the Editor

Our guidelines are intentionally loose, and while we have a "wish list" of certain types of submissions we're very interested in, we're willing to look at pretty much anything. We especially love unusual submissions that defy our expectations.
