redrosethorns journal is an online literary publication dedicated to work exploring mental health, self-care, gender, and sexuality, in any genre and style.
We are inspired by the feminist consciousness-raising movement, which gathered women to share personal stories as a way of illuminating the collective experience. In that spirit, we seek writing that educates, inspires, and motivates. We hope to spark connections across a global community of readers and writers engaging with the issues that shape our lives.
Tips From the Editor
We encourage authors to be creative with these themes and welcome submissions in any genre and style. However, please stick to the subjects of mental health, gender, and sexuality.
We only publish factually accurate work and will not tolerate discriminatory work or hateful commentary.
