Bonnie Jill Emanuel's poems appear or will appear in American Poetry Review, Mid-American Review, SWWIM, Ruminate, Love's Executive Order, The Laurel Review, Night Heron Barks and elsewhere. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing (2020) from The City College of New York, where she received the Jerome Lowell DeJur Award in Creative Writing and the Stark Poetry Prize in Memory of Raymond Patterson. She earned a BA in Creative Writing & Foreign Languages from University of Michigan's Residential College.  Bonnie is a Pushcart Prize nominee and a poetry reader for Bellevue Literary Review. Born in Detroit, she now lives in New York.
