Author's Bio

I'm the author of LAWNBOY, FAMOUS BUILDER, THE BURNING HOUSE, and UNBUILT PROJECTS. My work has appeared in CONJUNCTIONS, DENVER QUARTERLY, FENCE, PLOUGHSHARES, TIN HOUSE, UNSTUCK, and elsewhere. A new memoir, THE NARROW DOOR, is forthcoming from Graywolf Press in 2015. I teach in the MFA Program at Rutgers-Camden and at the Juniper Summer Writers' Institute. I'm the editor of STORYQUARTERLY and serve on the Writing Committee of the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown.
