Jeanann Verlee is author of Said the Manic to the Muse and Racing Hummingbirds, winner of the Independent Publisher Book Award silver medal in poetry. She has also earned the Third Coast Poetry Prize and the Sandy Crimmins National Prize for Poetry, and her work appears in Adroit, Rattle, The Journal, and BuzzFeed Reader, among others. She has served as poetry editor for Union Station Magazine, For Some Time Now, and Winter Tangerine Review: Fragments of Persephone, as well as a number of individual poetry collections.
