Author's Bio

Wyatt Townley is Poet Laureate of Kansas Emerita. Her work has been read on NPR, featured in "American Life in Poetry," and published in journals ranging from The Paris Review to Newsweek. Her fourth book of poems, Rewriting the Body, is just out from Stephen F. Austin State University Press. Formerly a dancer, she has taught yoga for over thirty years and is the founder of Yoganetics®, a therapeutic system practiced on six continents. HarperCollins published her book on the method, selected an “Editor’s Choice” by Yoga Journal. The confluence of poetry and poetry-in-motion has shaped Wyatt’s life.
