Founded in 1957, Wesleyan University Press is part of Wesleyan University and publishes approximately 20 books each year in poetry, music and dance. Authors include Rae Armantrout, Heather Christle, Camille Dungy, Peter Gizzi, Joy Harjo, Brenda Hillman, Susan Howe, Honoree Fanonne Jeffers, Yusef Komunyakaa, sam sax, Evie Shockley, James Tate, James Wright and many more. Press poetry titles have won multiple Pulitzer Prizes, National Book Awards, Griffin International Poetry Prizes, Lamba Literary awards, National Book Critics Circle prizes and many others.
