Author's Bio

W R Rodriguez is the author of The Bronx Trilogy: three books of poetry about The Bronx. The third book, from the banks of brook avenue, was awarded First Prize: Poetry by Winning Writers’ 2018 North Street Book Prize. He is also the author of The Bronx: Three Memoirs, a compilation of articles that appeared in The Bronx County Historical Society Journal. A selection of his poetry is included in Bronx Accent: A Literary and Pictorial History of the Bronx (Rutgers University Press). His work has been published in anthologies and magazines, including: The Party Train: A Collection of North American Prose Poetry; Welcome to Your Life: Writings for the Heart of Young America; Abraxas; Epoch; and The Wormwood Review.
