Susan is the author of the chapbook, Mascara, Boobs & Headbands (Porkbelly Press, 2024) and the award-winning collection, Dare Me To Be the Girl, The Art of Poetry.

Prizes won: 

Susan's recently released collection, Dare Me To Be the Girl, The Art Of Poetry (2025), has been awarded an international Art Directors Club Merit Award for Book Design (Text & Image driven category), an international Silver Graphis Award for excellence in Book Design and Best Of Show at the 2025 Americas Print Awards.

Her poem, "IN RELATION TO", was selected by Dorianne Laux as a Finalist in the motionpoems' short film contest, "Arrivals & Departures." ©2104, and her poem "BURNING SEASON" was nominated for Best of the Net, 2018.
