Author's Bio

Ryan Caidic is a Filipino creative director and poet based in Denmark. His work has been published in anthologies and journals across the US, Asia and Europe, including Poetry Wales, Breakwater Review, Southword, Canterbury Festival's Poet of the Year, and elsewhere.

He is the winner of London's inaugural Bermondsey Literary Festival, second in the 2024 Spring Onyx Poetry Prize, highly commended in the 2023 Wales Poetry Award, and shortlisted for many honors like the Peseroff Prize and the Bridport Prize.

After living in Hamburg for two years, he now enjoys Denmark's quiet fjords and rolling hills with his wife and two kids. 

His debut collection, 50 Ways Home, a hybrid book of poems and photos, is forthcoming from Fernwood Press (US) in 2026.
