Author's Bio

Ryan Caidic is a Filipino poet and advertising creative based in Denmark. His work has been published in anthologies and journals across the US, Asia and Europe, including Breakwater Review, Southword, Southeast Review and elsewhere.

He is the winner of London's inaugural Bermondsey Literary Festival, second prize in the 2024 Spring Onyx Poetry Prize, and has been highly commended by the Bridport Prize and Munster Literature Centre. His work has also been shortlisted for many honors like the Peseroff Prize, Wales Poetry Award, and the Alpine Fellowship Poetry Prize.

 He is a 2025 recipient of the Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards, the highest literary honor in the Philippines.

After living in Hamburg for two years, he now enjoys Denmark's quiet fjords and rolling hills with his wife and two kids. 

His debut collection, 50 Ways Home, a book of poems and photos, is forthcoming from Fernwood Press (US) in 2026.
