Author's Bio

Lucian Mattison is a US-Argentinian poet and translator. He is the author of two books of poetry, Reaper's Milonga (YesYes Books, 2018) and Peregrine Nation (Dynamo Verlag, 2017), winner of the 2014 Dogfish head Poetry Prize. His poetry, short fiction, and translations appear in Four Way Review, Hayden's Ferry Review, Hobart, Muzzle, Nano Fiction, The Nashville Review, The Offing, Third Coast, Waxwing, and elsewhere. He also won the Puerto Del Sol Poetry Prize in 2016. He received his MFA from Old Dominion University in 2015. He currently works at Writopia Lab in Washington, DC. Visit
