Author's Bio

Creativity is an antidote to an overly online world. My workshops and mentoring relationships are spontaneous and fluid. I help writers and would-be writers to become better observers. After years of working with children (grade 2 and up) and adults in both an arts high school and a university, I've developed many unique strategies. I'm happy to work with seniors, adults, teens and educators, and I can travel for readings or workshops (post-Covid), particularly anywhere near the ocean or mountains. My second collection of fiction, Impossibly Small Spaces was published in summer of 2018. I have four published collections of poetry, including two chapbooks. I will have another collection of poetry published in late 2021 or early 2022. I publish in both Ireland and the United States and have done many events for Irish-American groups, libraries, community centers, senior centers, high schools, and private schools.
