The Vermont Studio Center offers two-, three-, and four-week residencies year-round to poets, fiction writers, creative nonfiction writers, and translators in Johnson, Vermont, a village located in the heart of the northern Green Mountains. The center provides time and space to write, as well as readings, craft talks, and individual consultations with invited visiting writers. The residency fees, which include a private room, private studio space, and all meals, are $3,000 for two-week, $4,250 for three-week, and $5,500 for four-week residencies. Full fellowships are available. Using only the online application system, submit a completed application, up to 10 pages of poetry or 15 pages of prose or translation (including the original text), and a $25 application fee by June 15.
