Jennifer R. Edwards' debut poetry collection, Unsymmetrical Body (Finishing Line Press, July 2022) was a 2023 Eric Hoffer Award Honorable Mention and Boston Authors Club Julia Ward Howe Award Finalist. Her poetry won (2022, selected by Moira Linehan) and was honorably mentioned (2020, selected by Dzvinia Orlowsky) for the New England Poetry Club Amy Lowell Prize, and was longlisted for the 2022 Briefly Write Poetry Prize. Her poems have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net.

Her poetry appears or is forthcoming in RHINO, Emerge Literary Journal, Mom Egg Review, One Art, Gyroscope Review,  Passenger's Journal, Tiny Spoon, Terrain, Remington Review, The Racket, Literary Mama, Snapdragon: Journal of Art & Healing, Portrait of New England, The Ekphrastic Review, Headline Poetry and Press, Lucky Jefferson, FreezeRay Poetry, The Poets' Touchstone, 4linesart.com, and anthologies such as COVID Spring: Granite State Pandemic Poems (Hobblebush Books, 2020) and Smokey Quartz 10th Anniversary Anthology (October 2022). She was a 2021 Palm Beach Poetry Festival Thomas Lux Fellow and received support from Colgate Writers Conference (2022) and Vermont Postgraduate Writers' Conference.  She reads for Button Poetry.

She's a preschool speech-language pathologist living in Concord NH with her husband and children. Jennifer Edwards (maiden name Jennett) is originally from Barre, Vermont, and attended the University of Vermont for BAs in English and History and a Master of Science in Communication Sciences. She's passionate about literacy, neurodiversity acceptance, supporting individuals/families with learning disabilities and communication disorders, and advocating for social-emotional and regulation supports. Twitter @Jennife00420145
