Author's Bio

Jennifer R. Edwards' debut poetry collection is Unsymmetrical Body (Finishing Line Press, 2022). Her Pushcart Prize (XLIV) nominated poetry appears or is forthcoming in Mom Egg Review, Tiny Spoon, Terrain, Remington Review, The Racket, Literary Mama, Snapdragon: Journal of Art & Healing, Portrait of New England, The Ekphrastic Review, Headline Poetry and Press, Lucky Jefferson, FreezeRay Poetry, The Poets' Touchstone,, and anthologies such as COVID Spring: Granite State Pandemic Poems (Hobblebush Books, 2020) and Smokey Quartz 10th Anniversary Anthology (October 2022). Her poems have won (2022) and been honorably mentioned (2020) for the New England Poetry Club Amy Lowell Prize. She was a 2021 Palm Beach Poetry Festival Thomas Lux Fellow and received support from Colgate Writers Conference. She reads for Button Poetry. She's a preschool speech-language pathologist living in Concord NH with her husband and children. Jennifer Edwards (maiden name Jennett) is originally from Barre, Vermont, and attended the University of Vermont for BAs in English and History and a Master of Science in Communication Sciences. She's passionate about literacy, supporting individuals/families with learning disabilities and communication disorders, and advocating for social-emotional supports. Twitter @Jennife00420145
