Author's Bio

Jacquelyn Markham, author of two chapbooks and a collection, Peering Into the Iris: An Ancestral Journey, has published widely in literary journals, magazines, and anthologies, most recently Women and Earth, printed in English and Russian and The High Window, a quarterly review published in UK.
A recipient of numerous grants for literary merit and the Adele Mellen Prize for distinguished contribution to scholarship, Markham holds an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Creative Writing from Florida State University. A Professor of English and Liberal Arts for Ashford University, she lives and writes in South Carolina.
