Hambidge offers twelve residencies of two to eight weeks to poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers on 600 forested acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains of northern Georgia. Each resident is provided with a private cottage, which includes a bedroom, a studio, a full kitchen, and a bathroom. The cost of the residency is $250 per week, which includes meals. Limited financial aid scholarships and several full or partial merit-based Distinguished Fellowships were available. To apply to residencies from September through December, writers submitted six to eight poems or 12 to 15 pages of prose, a résumé, a 300-word biography, and a residency proposal with a $30 application fee by April 15. Visit the website for more information.

Accessibility accommodations include two accessible residential cottages, two accessible studios, and accessible doorways in community spaces. Contact the office and on-site programs coordinator via phone or e-mail for additional accessibility details.
