Author's Bio

Author of six poetry book collections with New Rivers Press, Kelsay Books, Is A Rose Press, and Word Poetry, as well as six chapbooks. Ann Stanford Poetry Prize winner and 2022 Edna Mundt Book Prize from the Council of Wisconsin Writers, several state arts board awards, a MacDowell Colony fellowship, and Milwaukee dance companies' performances of several poems. Professor Emeritus, University of Wisconsin--Whitewater.  Most recent collction of poetry is When & If  (2025).
