Author's Bio

Brad Davis was the first director of educational programming (and poet-in-residence) for Sylvester Manor Educational Farm on Shelter Island, NY. He has taught creative writing at two universities (College of Holy Cross, Eastern Connecticut State University) and two boarding schools (Pomfret School, Stony Brook School). For fifteen years at Pomfret School, Brad served as the school chaplain and varsity squash coach. He now freelances as a writer (poems, essays, short stories, plays), editor (The Mockingbird), and teacher (creative writing, meditation in the Christian tradition). He recently enjoyed a writing residency at The Studios at Mass MoCA. Brad and his partner Deb are owned by a black Norwegian forest cat named Mr. Bibbs.
