Author's Bio

Anastasios Mihalopoulos is a Greek/Italian American from Boardman, Ohio. He was awarded scholarships to attend the 2022 Juniper Writing Institute as well as the 2022 Napa Valley Writer’s Conference. He has previously attended the Writing Workshops in Greece: Thessaloniki | Thasos in 2018 as well as the Writing Workshops in Greece: Crete in 2022. His work has appeared in Foothill Poetry Journal, The Decadent Review, West Trade Review, Ergon, Blue Earth Review, and elsewhere.

He received his MFA in poetry from the Northeast Ohio MFA (NEOMFA) consortium and his B.S. in both chemistry and English from Allegheny College. He will be pursuing a Ph.D. in Creative Writing and Literature at the University of New Brunswick this coming Fall.
