The 2022 Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference will be held from August 17 to August 27 in the Green Mountains of Ripton, Vermont. The conference features workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as lectures; craft classes; meetings with editors, agents, and publishers; and readings by faculty and guests. The faculty includes poets Gabrielle Calvocoressi, francine j. harris, Ilya Kaminsky, Carl Phillips, Brenda Shaughnessy, Craig Morgan Teicher, and Mark Wunderlich; fiction writers Dean Bakopoulos, Charles Baxter, Alexander Chee, Stacey D’Erasmo, Laila Lalami, Rebecca Makkai, Elizabeth Nunez, Dolen Perkins-Valdez, Maurice Carlos Ruffin, and Marisa Silver; creative nonfiction writers Melissa Febos, Mitchell S. Jackson, and Paul Lisicky; editors Nicole Terez Dutton (Kenyon Review) and Yuka Igarashi (Graywolf Press); and agent Anjali Singh (Ayesha Pande Literary). Tuition is $3,810, which includes lodging and meals. Financial aid is available.
