Author's Bio

Amie Sharp received an MA in English from the University of South Florida and an MFA in poetry from Seattle Pacific University. A member of the Colorado Poets Center, she has been a featured poet in Atticus Review, and her writing has appeared in numerous literary journals including Badlands, the Bellevue Literary Review, BlazeVOX, Burningword Literary Journal, the Lascaux Review, New Plains Review, and Tar River Poetry, among others. Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and twice for Best of the Net, and she has performed at Bridgewater International Poetry Festival and Houston Poetry Fest. She is co-chair of the Pikes Peak Community College English Department, and spent the summer of 2018 as artist-in-residence at the Sabina Cultural Association in Casaprota, Italy.
