Author's Bio

Exuberance, a book length sequence of persona poems set in the early years of aviation, is forthcoming from Red Hen Press. Poems have appeared in recent issues of Poetry, Ecotone, The Common, and Yale Review. I’ve been a fellow at VCCA, Djerassi, and the Martha’s Vineyard Writers’ Residency. I also write nonfiction about American places. As a professor at Yale University I taught “Poets’ Landscapes.”
