Bio: 

Exuberance, a book length sequence of poems set in the early years of aviation, was published by Red Hen Press in 2019, and was a finalist for the Connecticut Book Award and for the Foreword Indies Poetry Award. Poems have appeared in recent issues of Poetry, Ecotone, The Common, and Yale Review. I’ve been a poetry fellow at VCCA and Djerassi. I write nonfiction about American places, including The Power of Place: Urban Landscapes as Public History. As a professor at Yale University I taught “Poets’ Landscapes.”
