This short film by directors Aaron Kotz and Frida Regaza, narrated by Scott Gentle, features Linda Pastan's poem "Consider the Space Between Stars." Pastan's poetry collection Insomnia is forthcoming in October from Norton.

Last month poet Martín Espada spoke with Bill Moyers about how poets "reach out and put our hands on the intangible". A one-time lawyer and advocate, Espada has published more than fifteen books of poems, translations, and essays, including his latest poetry collection, The Trouble Ball (Norton, 2011).
The author of five poetry collections, including Ghost in a Red Hat, which was just published by W. W. Norton, Rosanna Warren reads “Aftermath,” one in a series of elegies she wrote the for poet Deborah Tall, who died of breast cancer in 2006. This reading took place on March 7, 2011 at Nyack College.
Novelist Nicole Krauss recently appeard on the PBS NewsHour to discuss the inspiration for her third book, Great House, which was published by Norton last month. The novel, about a stolen writing desk, was recently named a finalist for the National Book Award.
