Elisabetta La Cava

Elisabetta LaCava is a double immigrant born in Italy, raised in Venezuela, who claimed Texas as her own. Her mother and grandmother survived the Russian advance into German territory at the end of WWII. Her father is the son of Italian migrants who settled in Venezuela. 

She holds an MFA from Bennington Writing Seminars. Her work has been seen in New Letters, Another Chicago Magazine, Cleaver Magazine, Stone Canoe, The Pointed Circle, Dead Mule School of Southern Literature, Texas Poetry Calendar, and others. She lives in Austin, Texas.
