Sarah Ann Winn

Sarah Ann Winn’s first book, Alma Almanac, was selected by Elaine Equi as winner of the Barrow Street Book Prize, and was released by Barrow Street Press in 2017. She’s the author of five chapbooks, the most recent of which is Ever After the End Matter. In 2016, six poems from her poetic sequence “Dot & Bo” won Radar Poetry’s Coniston Prize, judged by Gabrielle Calvocoressi. Her writing has appeared in many publications, online and in print, including Five Points, Kenyon Review Online, Massachusetts Review, Smartish Pace and Tupelo Quarterly, among others. She is the founder and EIC of Painted Pebble Lit Mag, a journal celebrating all genres of short form writing. She's also led classes at the Writer's Center in Bethesda, Loft Literary Center and the Poetry Foundation.he curently teaches at Poet Camp, an online community she founded in 2015.
