Symposium Books is an independent bookstore that sells new and used books, gifts, cards, socks, and more. They regularly host author book readings and signings, book clubs, a poetry reading series, and other events throughout the year.

Four Seasons Books

Four Seasons Books is a family-owned and operated bookstore founded in 1991. Located in the heart of downtown historic Shepherdstown, West Virginia, a small college town on the Upper Potomac River, Four Seasons Books offers a unique selection of quality new, used, and discount books. The full-service bookstore hosts a variety of author readings and signings, talks and discussions, and special events and performances.

Pandemonium Books and Games

Pandemonium Books and Games has resided in Boston for over 30 years. Their community is for anyone interested in enriching their life through play, literature, and imaginative storytelling. They have the largest event space of its kind in the Boston area, where they strive to create a comfortable and welcoming place for folks of all ages and identities. The shop carries science fiction, fantasy, and horror books, used books, board games, role-playing games, CCGs, and war games of all types.

Counterpath

Counterpath is a publisher, gallery and event space, and bookstore. As a publisher, Counterpath was founded in 2006 and has published over sixty titles to date. Its gallery and event space, opened in late 2010 and hosts art, music, digital, film, and literary exhibitions, performances, and events. Its bookstore, part of the event space, carries titles published by small and independent presses.

Couth Buzzard Books

Couth Buzzard Books is a local, independent bookstore, café, and performance and community gathering space. The café serves beer and wine, shows visual art, and hosts live acoustic music with local musicians, open mics, and poetry and author readings.

Tattered Cover Book Store: Colfax Avenue

Tattered Cover Book Store has grown over forty-three years into one of the premier bookstores in America, with eight unique locations in the Denver Metro area. The stores are filled with antique furniture and lots of nooks and crannies for browsing and reading. Tattered Cover has decades of experience hosting authors, averaging nearly five hundred writers, illustrators, celebrities, and other special guests each year. They sell e-books, new and used books, bargain books, and rare collectible editions. 

The Book House in Dinkytown

The Book House offers the increasingly-rare opportunity to browse a large stock of used and rare books, hang out, read, write, invite friends to meet, and talk with fellow book lovers. In addition to their store stock, their online book archive of over forty thousand books can be searched through their catalog site.

Barnes & Noble: Fifth Avenue

Open seven days a week, this location includes a café and has frequent events with authors, celebrities, and musicians. Along with a wide selection of books, there is also a department for toys and games as well as vinyl records.

East Bay Booksellers

Formerly known as DIESEL, A Bookstore, the space has transformed into East Bay Booksellers. Still a neighborhood bookstore, the shop was created to provide a place for creating and maintaining community in an atmosphere that promotes the free, mutually-supportive exchange of ideas and experiences. With a wide selection of books and events, East Bay Booksellers is a cultural center that aims to support the literary community.
