Editorial Focus
Please See Me is an online literary journal that features health-related stories. The mission of the publication is to elevate voices and stories of vulnerable and underserved populations and those who care for them. At the heart of this publication is the cultivation of meaningful patient–provider partnerships in the spirit of wellness. To that end, we will publish work written by patients, family members, creatives, caregivers, and providers; anyone with a health-related tale to tell is invited to submit.
Tips From the Editor
Each issue of Please See Me has a theme, though we consider any health-related story during this inflection point in time, and we encourage diverse voices to submit. Our Winter 2020 Issue #6 theme is "Bias" reflecting the need to curate narratives engendering empathy and understanding of those marginalized. Bias is widespread, touches all of us, and includes race, religion, physical appearance, age, mental/physical illness, social status and more.
