Editorial Focus
OxMag is a literary & arts magazine run by creative writing MFA students at Miami University. Appearing biannually, our web-based journal that accepts fiction, poetry, new media, and creative nonfiction/essays. Miami University is located within the traditional homelands of the Myaamia and Shawnee people. The Miami people, whose name our university carries, were forcibly removed from these homelands in 1846.
Tips From the Editor
We’re looking for prose, poetry, hybrid work, and art that bends genres, experiments with forms, and includes unusual, even bizarre, premises. We particularly enjoy work that makes daring comparisons, includes strange points-of-view, and that makes us unsure if we should laugh or cry
