Editorial Focus

Midway Journal accepts submissions of aesthetically ambitious work that occupies the realms between both the traditional and experimental. The editors seek to publish a variety of styles and diverse voices, and they are honored to present work by new and established writers alike. They especially welcome marginalized voices and authors from underrepresented communities to submit their writing.

Tips From the Editor

The work we publish aims to complicate and question the boundaries of genre, binary, and perspective. It offers surprises and ways of re-seeing, re-thinking, and re-feeling. Please read back issues to get a feel for the type of work we are looking for.
